Products such as Pepsi and Coca Cola can be dangerous if taken in large amounts. These products contain excessive amounts of sugar, aritfical coloring, and phosphoric acid that have been linked to the loss of bone mass and tooth enamel. Soft drinks such as these have also been proven to lead to health problems such as kidney disease, obesity, and kidney stones in adults and teenagers.

Soda is very bad for you. The pH of Soda is the same as the pH of Vinegar, which makes it one of the most acidic drinks. There is a large amount of phosphorous in soda which leaches calcium from your bones. In addition, the amount of sugar in soda is tremendous. The large amount of sugar consumed by just drinking one soda can begin to dissolve your teeth. There are little to none all natural ingredients in soda making it very unhealthy. There are even a few studies that have shown that for every can of soda you drink, you are raising your chances of obesity by 1-2%. Soda is powerful enough to remove rust from most surfaces, just imagine the harm it can cause your body....

Coca Cola/Pepsi is, in fact, bad for you. The high acidity rate, which is found in Coca Cola/Pepsi, cannot be healthy for your stomach, especially being that it is used to remove rust. Although the sugar balances the acid out, the sugar adds more bad effects to the original outcomes of drinking Coca Cola/Pepsi, and causes even more diseases such as, diabetes, hyperglycemia, hypoglycemia, etc.

coke/pepsi is bad for you, but not because of the phosphoric acid, but because of the sugars. phosphoric acid is stronger than vinegar and lemon juice, however the vast amounts of sugar balance out the acid. phosphoric acid also is used to remove rust, and it can lower bone density.
I believe that cola is not bad if you drink it in moderation. It becomes bad when you consume too much of it because the phosphoric acid can lead to bone and kidney problems. Because of the problems it can lead to, cola can be bad for you if it is over consumed.
I despise soda in the first place, but this stuff about Coca-Cola containing a RUST-REMOVING ACID is ridiculous. I don't know about you, but I happen to enjoy having two kidneys and would rather like to avoid kidney stones as they sound to me rather unpleasant. I do not think drinking Coca Cola/Pepsi is bad for you if you drink it in moderation. As the article said, very small amounts of phosphoric acid is found naturally in foods like meat, nuts, fish, etc. so it's not as if it is poisonous. However if phosphoric acid causes the soda to become overly acidic, you might want to limit the amount you drink because large amounts of it could possibly have damaging effects on your body. Also you would want to avoid the high amount of sugar in Pepsi/Coca Cola, so one should avoid drinking too much soda even without the worry of phosphoric acid.

Coke and Pepsi are bad for you not because of the acid in them, but because of how fast the sugar in them will rot the teeth of a person. Once teeth begin to decay, they don't stop, even after being filled, and that's a permanent damage. So, Coke and Pepsi are alright to drink so long as they are drunk in a moderate amount and the drinker brushes their teeth sometime soon afterwards.

Too much consumption of Coca Cola/Pepsi is bad for you because it has several harmful effects. The acid in Coca Cola can potentially cause kidney disease, and the phosphoric acid in the drinks causes a decrease in bone density causing osteoporosis. The ability of phosphoric acid to remove rust is not something anyone would want inside their body.

cola is bad for our bodies because of the high amount of sugars in it, the sugars will erode your teeth and ultimately drain your energy level. Phosphoric acid is also used in colas, our stomach already have acid in them, adding more can cause heartburn. all things in moderation thought, these problems will only happen for habitual cola drinkers.

yes any soda is bad for you because too much sugar in your diet can cause health problems such as high blood pressure our high cholestrol. Me, I abosultely love mountain dew lol but I can't have it as much anymore because too much because of the phospheric acid and sugar contained in it, is not good for your kidneys.

Its interesting that cola is so loved by a vast amount of the population even though it causes so many kidney problems. you would think people would fiure out that its causing all these health problems and reduce their consumption or reduce its distribution. considering the fact that phosphoric acid is used for other things like rust removal you could assume that people wouldnt want it in their bodiesyet for sooem reason they still consume it and end up with health problems later on.

Coca-Cola is bad for us because of the high amounts of sugar that are in it as well as the phosphoric acid levels. Also, the artificial ingredients can cause tooth decay and other health problems. Still, I will continue to drink soda in moderation because some things- such as Coca-Cola- will not create many health problems in small amounts.

Coca-Cola is very bad for you because not only does it have Acid but lots of sugar and other things that in little amounts can be okay but in a 12 pack of soda very bad for you. Pepsi is also bad but not as much as Coca-Cola, I don't drink either because they both hurt my Tummy :)

Coca-Cola is actually really bad yfor you because it is just filled with sugar. Also if you just drink Coca-Cola all the time then you will start to get cavities and tooth decays. It's also bad for your health.
